2020 4-Star offensive lineman, Javion Cohen, flipped his commitment from the Auburn Tigers to the Crimson Tide on Wednesday.
Cohen is a product of Central-Phenix City High School in Phenix-City, Alabama. The Tide hosted Cohen for an official visit last weekend after Nick Saban visited him at schools earlier in the week. The 4-Star recruit said their conversation was focused on life outside of football.
“It was a great talk,” Cohen said. “We had a good long conversation about what I should expect life to be like if I were to choose the Crimson Tide.”
Alabama first offered Cohen in March. Upon receiving an offer from the Tide, cohen told Touchdown Alabama it was a dream come true.
“It is the greatest feeling ever,” Cohen said. “Where I come from, that was the only thing you wanted as a child. Now that I have it, It feels like my childhood dream is complete.”
Cohen currently stands at 6-5 and weighs 275 pounds.
Cohen’s commitment gives the Tide 24 commits in the 2020 recruiting class and three offensive line pledges.
