The 2019 Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game is set to kick off at 12 p.m. CST on Saturday from M.M. Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and five Alabama commits will suit up for team Alabama. Here is a break down of the Tide commits that will be in action:
Demouy Kennedy #38 – 4-Star LB
Kennedy is a product of Theodore High School in Theodore, Alabama. The 2020 linebacker is expected to sign with the Tide on Dec. 18 and will enroll early into the University of Alabama. Ed Orgeron and LSU have attempted to make a late push for Kennedy, but he still looks locked in with Alabama. Kennedy’s speed leaps out on film, which will be showcased in Saturday’s matchup.
Jackson Bratton – #30 4-Star LB
Bratton has taken a huge step during his senior season as he has added on some muscles to his lengthy 6-3 frame. The Muscle-Shoals product is also expected to sign with the Tide and enroll early. This game will allow him to showcase his improvements against some of the top players from the state of Mississippi.
Jah-Marien Latham #92 4-Star DT
Latham has flown under the radar in some regards, but his senior season was quite impressive. The Pickens County product was a late addition to the Alabama All-Star roster but should fit right in with the talented group. Latham is an experienced defensive and offensive lineman. His athleticism makes him a unique defensive tackle prospect. This game will give Latham a chance to show what he can do against an uptick in competition as he participated in the trenches of 1-A classification during his high school career. Latham is expected to sign with the Tide on Wednesday and enroll during the Summer
Kristian Story # 16 4-Star ATH
Story is expected to play multiple positions `in Saturday’s game as he spent time at running back and quarterback this week. This game should give Story a chance to do what he has always done and that make an impact in several ways. It will be interesting to see the different ways the Alabama All-Stars use him.
Javion Cohen #73 4-Star OL
Cohen is Alabama’s newest commit and their highest ranking offensive lineman commit. Central-Phenix City High School depended on Cohen during his senior season to be a lead blocker and keep the quarterback upright on down and distance. This game will give Cohen a chance to see how he stacks up against some future collegiate defensive lineman.
The game will be live on the NFHS Network and the Beam T.V. Network. Check out your local T.V. listing for channel number.
