Alabama is continuing its preparation for the Citrus Bowl, but it had 20 student-athletes from its 2020 recruiting class to sign early.
Nine players hail from the state of Alabama, while one came from California, three from Florida, three from Georgia, one from Louisiana, one from Maryland, one from Ohio and one from Texas.
According to Nick Saban, this is a ‘character driven’ class and the Crimson Tide signed a lot of mature guys.
When it comes to Bryce Young, a five-star quarterback from California, Saban said he comes from a ‘great family’ and that he is full of the ‘right stuff.’ In discussing Kristian Story, a four-star athlete from Alabama, Saban said he has a unique skill set and can play on either offense or defense. This class fulfilled a lot of needs, especially on defense.

In going back to prep for Michigan, Saban updated reporters on injuries to Devonta Smith and Christian Harris.
Both guys were able to do some things, but are being caught up to speed.
The Tide will have four more practices (before Christmas) and then the team will head down to Orlando, Fla.
