Although there is much worry surrounding the health of the Alabama quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa is still held in high regard amongst ESPN’s Mel Kiper.
Kiper, who is the lead draft analyst at ESPN, has Tagovailoa slotted as the third best prospect in the entire draft. He is now only ranked behind LSU and Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Joe Burrow and Ohio State defensive end Chase Young.
In just 10 games with the Crimson Tide, Tagovailoa passed for 2,840 yards, 33 touchdowns and just three interceptions.
After suffering a dislocated hip against Mississippi State there has been a ton of speculation surrounding the decision Tagovailoa is going to make.
He has been consistently saying that he is 50/50 on returning to Alabama or leaving for the draft. But rankings like these will surely play a big factor in deciding whether it is worth it for him to test the waters.
