Mac Jones, a rising junior at quarterback, was at the Roberta Alison Baumgarnder Indoor Facility on Sunday morning to give the first serve for Alabama Women’s Tennis.

Prior to its singles and doubles matchup against Kennesaw State, Jones displayed his skills on the court – in showing he is more than just a football player.

Hailing from Jacksonville, Fla., he brought smiles to the tennis team and it would defeat the Owls before facing Alabama A&M.

Tennis is in the bloodline of Jones’ family, as his sister – Sarah Jane Jones – played the sport at College of Charleston in South Carolina.

Seeing her brother have fun brought back great moments of the two competing as children and she retweeted the video to her social media.

When he’s not out and about in the community, Jones is working on his game and developing more chemistry with his receivers.

He tossed for 1,503 yards last year with 14 touchdowns to three interceptions.

Once a four-star, Jones totaled two 300-plus yard passing games – including a strong showing versus Michigan in the Citrus Bowl. He accounted for 327 yards on 16 of 25 passes completed with three scores in a 35-16 win for the Crimson Tide.

With Tua Tagovailoa headed to the NFL Draft, Jones is ready to show college football he can lead Alabama to a national championship.
