Williams is a product of Ramsey High School in Birmingham, Alabama. His offer list is one of the more impressive in this class as Georgia, LSU, Florida and more have previously offered. The Ramsey product said he had a special feeling when he found out about his offer from Alabama.
βI really felt honored,β Williams said.
Nick Saban was the one, who informed Williamsβ coach of his offer. Williams has great respect for the success Alabama has enjoyed with Saban at the helm and feels they are not going anywhere.
βIt is really incredible how successful they have been and they are no where close to a decline,β Williams added.
At 6-4 and 220 pounds, Williams is a patient edge rusher, who is comfortable dropping back in coverage and playing standing up. He rarely out runs plays as he knows when to stay at home and when to rush, which shows he is knowledgeable.
While holding more than 20 Division 1 offers, Williams is just enjoying the recruitment process at the moment.
βMy recruitment is 1,000 percent open and I am taking things really slow,β Williams said. βI am not planning on committing soon.β
The Crimson Tide will continue recruiting the in-state prospect, along with his teammate and 4-Star defensive tackle, Tim Keenan.
