After two years of frustration for Alabama football and its fans – especially on defense – the program is preparing to get itself back to winning national championships.
Despite its offense being excellent, the Crimson Tide struggled defensively in the last two years and this was uncommon for its supporters. Regardless of it not finishing last by college football standards, it did not meet the expectations of itself or the fans. Injuries played a role in this; however, a lack of communication and the youth of Pete Golding had a hand in it as well.

With having the experience of last year and bringing talent back to the roster, next fall should yield much better results.
For Alabama, it will start with locating the alpha personalities.
It returns both Dylan Moses and Joshua McMillon at inside linebacker, while having LaBryan Ray and Christian Barmore on the defensive line. Also, the marquee experience of Patrick Surtain II provides a voice in the secondary.
Although coaches have a job to do, it is the responsibility of the players to hold each athlete accountable.
