The Tide were joined by the Clemson Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs in Williams’ top three. Both Auburn and Miami were cut after being listed in Williams’ top five in September. Georgia is the latest school of the three to host Williams.
At 6-5 and 218 pounds, Williams is one of the tallest safeties in the 2021 recruiting class. He finished his junior season with more than 60 tackles and six interceptions en route to being named to the All-Broward County First Team.
Georgia looks to be the favorite for Williams at the moment with the number of times he has visited Athens. Listing Alabama in his top 3 shows the Tide are at least still an option at this point.
4-Star defensive back, Latrell McCutchin, is currently the Tide’s only 2021 defensive back commit. After landing four defensive backs in the 2020 recruiting class, The Tide is expected to sign a similar number in the 2021 recruiting cycle.
Williams will play his senior season at American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida, which is the same high school Alabama cornerback, Patrick Surtain, attended.
