It is well known that Alabama is known to have speed all over its roster, especially during the 2019 season. But one question has been asked for quite a while now.
Which position group is the fastest?
Well in a video posted to Twitter on Thursday questions were answered as the wide receivers and defensive backs competed in a 4×100 relay race.
And it’s safe to say there was an obvious winner amongst the two.
The Bama wide receivers took on the DBs in a 4×100….and Henry Ruggs ended things quick 😂🔥 @__RUGGS @jerryjeudy @AlabamaFTBL

Coming through with the victory were Alabama’s “rydeouts” as they decisively defeated the defensive backs in the race. Although it is unclear in the video who exactly was competing on both teams, Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs were both tagged in the tweet.
It appears as if Ruggs was the anchor of the team since “c’mon Ruggs” can be heard as the race concludes which proved to be a wise move by the unit.
Both Ruggs and Jeudy are expected to be amongst the top receivers in the 2020 NFL Draft and Ruggs is the favorite to have the fastest 40-yard dash time at the upcoming NFL combine which will begin on Sunday Feb. 23 and go until March 2.
