Alabama interviews Kansas State’s Chris Dawson for strength coach vacancy

via: Scott Sewell USA Today Sports

The search to replace Scott Cochran is officially underway as Alabama had its first interview for the strength and conditioning coach vacancy on Thursday.

According to AL.com, Kansas State head strength and conditioning coach Chris Dawson conducted the first in person interview for the job. Dawson has held his position at Kansas State for a decade in Manhattan, KS.

Prior to Kansas State Dawson had also been the strength and conditioning coach at Kansas (2003-09) and Minnesota (2001-02).

Whether Dawson is only going to be one of several interviewing for the job, whoever ends up with it will have a ton to live up to as they replace the 13 year veteran Cochran.
