For Jeffery “Scooby” Carter, the Alabama cornerback is looking for a new school.

He made it official via Twitter on Sunday that he’s re-entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal.

Although he was in the portal in November of 2019, Carter would later remove his name.

A native of Mansfield, Texas, he signed in the Crimson Tide’s 2019 recruiting class a four-star athlete. Carter has a lot of potential and can play anywhere within the secondary; however, it seems like Alabama is not the school for him.

He joins Antonio Alfano as the second player from the 2019 class to pursue a transfer out of the program.
