Trevon Diggs looked smooth in on-field drills at NFL Scouting Combine

He will save everything else for his Pro Day at Alabama, but Trevon Diggs provided strong moments in his on-field workout at the NFL Scouting Combine. The former Crimson Tide cornerback showed fluid hips, good footwork and broke on passes for interceptions.

He maintained control of his body and was able to change directions instantly.

As the younger of brother of NFL wide receiver, Stefon Diggs, Trevon looked smooth in the gauntlet drill.

With Pro Football Hall of Famers – including Deion Sanders – looking on, the once four-star from Maryland made it look easy. Prior to being a corner, Diggs was a receiver during his first two seasons at Alabama. He has experience on offense and special teams; however, he led the Tide in breakups (eight) and had a career-high three interceptions last year.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder was given a prospect grade of 6.39 via NFL.com, which means he “will be a starter within the first two seasons.” He has the size, athleticism and ball skills to be a game changer at the next level, but Diggs must prove to be someone who trusts his instincts.

Ja’Marr Chase of LSU burned him last season, but Diggs has grown from that moment.

Should he have a strong Pro Day, there is a chance for him to be a potential first-rounder.
