Since Nick Saban arrived at the Capstone all those years ago, there has been no shortage of broken records and historic moments. The players that have left the Alabama football program carry hundreds of all-time memories with them.
To even try and pick a single moment that stands out would be quite difficult just from a fans perspective.
But former Alabama and current Washington Redskins safety Landon Collins shared what his favorite moment was from his time in Tuscaloosa.

Collins’ history with LSU has been well documented over the years, starting all the way back with his recruitment. The New Orleans native was very close to landing with the Tigers until ultimately ending up with the Crimson Tide.
His decision was made famous due to the fact he chose Alabama over LSU just days before the two schools squared off in the BCS National Championship game in 2012. The moment also went viral due to his mother’s reaction to her son’s decision.
Obviously wanting her son to attend LSU she shook her head and just said “Go Tiger.”
Due to the fact that Collins won a national championship, was named a unanimous All-American in 2014 and went 3-0 against LSU, I’d say he doesn’t have many regrets on the decision.
