Franklin is a product of Menlo-Atherton High School in Menlo Park, California. He is now ranked as the No. 1 wideout in the 2021 recruiting class. Oregon, Washington, USC, LSU and Arizona State rounded out Franklin’s top schools’ list.
The Tide was also included in a top 11 Franklin released in November.
The California product is a lengthy playmaker at 6-2 and 170 pounds. He has soft hands but does most of his damage in the open field with the ball in his hands. He also has a nice vertical, which makes him dangerous when it comes to 50/50 balls.
The Tide currently has one commit in its 2021 recruiting class. Three wide receivers signed with Alabama in the 2020 recruiting cycle and the Tide could go after a similar number in the 2021 cycle.
