Alabama football and its fans have given Nick Saban something he’s always wanted, stability.
Prior to 2007, the legendary head coach was a nomad in the college football world – roaming from school to school every four to five years.
He never wanted to overstay his welcome or overstep boundaries; however, the people of the Yellowhammer state can honestly say he has done neither of the two. During his first 13 seasons in Tuscaloosa, Saban has endured extreme joys and bitter disappointments yet the 68-year-old would not change his journey.
After winning five national championships, six Southeastern Conference titles and signing a bunch of top-ranked recruiting classes, Saban joined Sean Pittman Show (Tallahassee, Fla.) on Sunday and was asked a question on which program would be his ‘dream job’ as a coach.
Saban’s response was Alabama.

“I’m in the ultimate job now, because I have no circumstance that would interest me in leaving in any way, shape or form, which it has been that way for a long time,” he said.
As he enters year No. 14 in the fall, he said it is the people inside the program and fans that make his job enjoyable.
“The people are very committed to having the best program in the country and doing everything they can to help the players be successful,” Saban said. “That is the ultimate goal that we have… we enjoy the success and the quality of people and players we’ve been able to attract there; it has been a lot of fun.”
With the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, he along with the Alabama coaching staff has been practicing social distancing. Saban spoke to reporters on last week about the schedule has changed, but the program is finding ways to adjust.

Most people are very hopeful for a football season; nevertheless, Tide fans will be happy as long as Saban continues to be at the helm.
He is looking to eclipse Paul W. “Bear” Bryant in winning a seventh national title overall.
