Having a quarterback like Tua Tagovailoa is rare to come by in College Football. Right from the get go the soon to be first round pick, displayed advanced vision, accuracy and awareness when arriving at the University of Alabama.
Traits like that were what helped him enter the national championship game and lead the Crimson Tide to a victory as a freshman, and what also helped him become the program’s all-time leader in passing yards and touchdowns.
And during ESPN Plus’ show “Detail: From the Mind of Nick Saban”, the head coach broke down one of Alabama’s pass plays which required Tagovailoa to do some quick processing and efficiency.
"A lot of guys can't do this."

The play Saban is discussing comes from 2018 against Missouri where Tagovailoa was able to find Jerry Jeudy down the middle of the field for a touchdown after going through multiple reads.
ESPN has conducted its “Detail” series with multiple prominent sports figures such as former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning, UFC martial artist Daniel Cormier and the late NBA legend Kobe Bryant.
