The legend adds another star to his name and now has a huge recruiting tool.
On Thursday night, Nick Saban made NFL Draft history in becoming the only coach in the common draft era to have all 22 positions taken in the first round. As the head man for the University of Alabama football program, he has positioned running backs, wide receivers, offensive linemen, tight ends, defensive linemen, linebackers and defensive backs as first-rounders.
The quarterback position had been a struggle for him, until the islands of Hawaii brought forth a five-star in Tua Tagovailoa to the Crimson Tide’s 2017 recruiting class.
