Last season, he gave Alabama fans a taste of what he could do.
In limited action, Christian Barmore showed the passion, energy, determination and production on the Crimson Tide’s defensive line. He collected 26 total tackles in 12 games – including six tackles for loss, two sacks, five quarterback pressures and two pass breakups. The 6-foot-5, 310-pounder became a fan favorite at Bryant-Denny Stadium as his intensity was needed.

A native of Philadelphia, Pa., Barmore was named to the All-Freshman Team for the Southeastern Conference and earned the trust of Nick Saban as an interior pass rusher.
While he is preparing for this season, Pro Football Focus highlighted his success from 2019.

Upon looking at the analytics, the redshirt sophomore had the highest pass-rush win rating for defensive tackles at 20.8 percent.
As a freshman, Barmore had a higher rating than Javon Kinlaw of South Carolina – who was selected in this year’s NFL Draft. With him taking on more of a leadership role, the four-star expects to restore the physicality and toughness on defense.
Hopefully, we will have a college football season in the fall.
