It took a few games, but Najee Harris showed Alabama’s coaches and fans he can turn on the power and speed whenever he wanted to last season.
Of the six 100-yard rushing performances he collected, five came against marquee opponents – including four versus institutions in the Southeastern Conference.
In the Crimson Tide’s two losses, Harris put on a show in meetings with LSU and Auburn – accounting for 146 yards rushing in each game with one touchdown.
He finished 2019 with 1,224 yards rushing, 307 yards receiving and 20 total scores.

Harris, a former five-star in the 2017 signing class, could have declared for this year’s NFL Draft, but he decided to give Nick Saban another season. His desire to win a national championship with his coach has Harris in position to run behind a great offensive line.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pounder is putting in work this offseason, in terms of speed, core strength and footwork training at home in California. If Mac Jones suits up as the starting quarterback for the Tide, prepare to see a much-balanced offense with Harris as the focal point. He is locked in on winning a host of individual accolades – including the Heisman Memorial Trophy in the fall.

According to WagerTalk.com, Harris carries odds of 40/1 for the Heisman.
Along with this, he is also looking to cash out on being a first-round selection in next year’s draft.
Alabama fans are ready to see part two of Harris running wild on college football.
