Alabama signed three talented running backs in its 2020 class and one is already showing excitement about being part of the program.
While Jase McClellan and Roydell Williams are both four-stars, Kyle Edwards took to Twitter on Sunday to say he is ready for Tuscaloosa.
Thank you everyone who is supporting me in this next chapter in my life. Thank you to my friends and family who continuously show nothing but love. Thank you god for this opportunity you have given me. As of now I make my way to Alabama, So let the journey begin. I love you all❤️

A four-star recruit from Louisiana, Edwards totaled over 1,000 yards rushing with 16 touchdowns as a senior at Destrehan (La.) High School. The 6-foot, 205-pounder helped the Wildcats win a Class 5A state championship in 2019.

During his junior campaign in 2018, Edwards recorded 708 yards with eight scores on 112 carries – en route to pacing Destrehan to the District 7-5A state championship. Despite him being bigger than McClellan and Williams, Edwards’ running style will put Tide fans in the mindset of T.J. Yeldon and Damien Harris.
He along with the rest of the freshmen class will enroll on Monday. Edwards chose Alabama over LSU, Michigan and Penn State, and hopefully he will find ways to get on the field and make an early impact.
