This recruiting cycle has been nothing short of unique as the NCAA has had a ban on in-person visits for the last couple of months due to concerns over the spread of COVID 19.
Some recruits have taken a step back in their recruitment in hopes they can resume taking visits soon, while others have gone full steam ahead with their recruitment and verbally committed to the school of their choice. This has led several recruits to commit to schools, where they have not visited recently or had never visited. When visits resume, many feel a record number of flips and de-commitments will happen.
So, what does that mean for Alabama?
Yes, some Alabama commits will visit other schools, which is expected. This is most likely going to mean the Tide will have to fend off some top-tier programs for some of its current commitments. This also will open the door for Alabama to execute some flips.
