Tua Tagovailoa shoots his shot at celebrity crush Shania Twain

Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa (#13) drops back to pass in 2019 matchup against South Carolina.

In believing that it has found its quarterback of the future, the media department for the Miami Dolphins decided to have some fun with Tua Tagovailoa on last week. During a question and answer (Q & A) segment, the native Hawaiian took on thoughts of pineapple on a pizza, peanut butter and which actor would he want to play him in a movie.

The best question in getting to know the former Alabama signal caller and 2018 Heisman finalist came near the end.

Upon being asked about his celebrity crush, the once five-star prospect took the opportunity to shoot his shot at Canadian Country/Pop singer, Shania Twain. With hits singles such as “Any Man of Mine,” “You’re Still the One,” “From This Moment On” and “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” one can see why Tagovailoa is a big fan.

Not only does he consider Twain’s music his guilty pleasure choice, but he also shouted her out in hopes to receive a response.

With a kissy face and a crying with laughter emoji, Twain’s response to Tagovailoa was he should be proud of his good taste in music.

Even though Twain is married, it was all in good fun to see Tagovailoa admire her and the 54-year-old taking the chance to respond.

After all the success he had with the Crimson Tide, the Dolphins are hopeful that its first selection of this year’s NFL Draft will lead the franchise back to Super Bowl greatness.
