He was a standout at Auburn University on the offensive line, but ESPN’s Cole Cubelic has been complimentary of Alabama’s student-athletes when it comes to the Southeastern Conference this season.
He ranked the Crimson Tide’s offensive line as his top-rated group in the conference, while showing love to Dylan Moses (No. 1 linebacker) and Christian Barmore (one of five breakout defensive players) on defense.
On Friday, Cubelic released his top five SEC offensive breakout players for the fall.

Darrian Dalcourt, a four-star offensive lineman, made the list for Alabama at No. 5.
A native of Maryland, Dalcourt anchored a powerhouse front at St. Frances Academy.
He pushed the program to a state championship in his senior year and was one of 25 freshmen that played in 2019 for the Tide. The 6-foot-3, 292-pounder saw action in seven games — including South Carolina, Ole Miss and Arkansas of the SEC.
As a backup center, Dalcourt blocked for the two longest touchdown runs from a running back in Keilan Robinson’s 74-yard run versus New Mexico State and 46-yard score against Western Carolina.
He saw 69 snaps at the position and has strong coordination with his feet and hands.
Alabama has Landon Dickerson as its returning center, but Dalcourt can play either center or guard. It will be interesting to see where he fits in, especially with the expectations the offensive unit has this year.

Dalcourt is one of four players Nick Saban recruited from the Maryland area in the 2019 and 2020 class, joining Shane Lee, DeMarcco Hellams and Chris Braswell.
