2021 4-Star JUCO defensive back, Khyree Jackson, announced his commitment to Alabama Saturday via Instagram.
Jackson is the second recruit to commit to the Crimson Tide today and Alabama’s 18th pledge overall. The Crimson Tide had to hold off Florida, Oklahoma and Oregon to grab a commitment from Jackson. If Jackson keeps his commitment to the Tide firm and signs with the University of Alabama, this will be the second straight year Nick Saban signed a JUCO defensive back.
East Mississippi Community College will not play football this fall, which means the next game Jackson will play will most likely be as a member of the Crimson Tide
The DMV product is regarded as one of the top junior college defensive backs in the country. At 6-4 and 195 pounds, he possesses a lengthy frame and plays with a lot of aggressiveness. The junior college prospect also shows great hip fluidity in coverage and could be the most technically sound defensive back Alabama brings in this class.
Alabama is expected to line him up at the cornerback position once he enrolls.
