On Tuesday the Southeastern Conference announced the slate of games that will be broadcast on CBS for this upcoming season.
Due to the impacts of COVID-19 the SEC requested that CBS make their selections in advance to help each university plan the logistics of the broadcast once the game comes around. For any games not chosen before the start of the year, CBS will use the normal 12- or six-day selection process.
Within the kickoff times, Alabama shared the lead with LSU for the most games played on the channel with three.
But the three games selected for the Crimson Tide are unquestionably its most impactful games of the season.
Below are Alabama’s three scheduled matchups:
Oct. 3 -Texas A&M at Alabama, 3:30 pm ET / 2:30 pm CT
Oct. 17 – Georgia at Alabama, 3:30 pm ET / 2:30 pm CT
Nov. 14 – Alabama at LSU, 6 pm ET / 5 pm CT
All three of Alabama’s matchups are against ranked opponents and two of the three teams are ranked inside the top 10.
The other slate of games being played on CBS are Mississippi State at LSU on Sept. 26 which takes place at 2:30 CT, LSU at Auburn on Oct. 31 at 2:30 CT, and Florida vs Georgia in Jacksonville on Nov. 7 at 2:30 CT.
CBS will also be televising the SEC Championship Game on December 19 at a time to be announced later.
