Robbie Ouzts announced his verbal commitment to Alabama Tuesday.
Ouzts’ commitment gives the Tide 21 commits and one tight end pledge in the 2021 recruiting class. The South Carolina product picked Alabama over Virginia, who were included in his top two. This is another interesting pick up for Alabama as they have never hosted the 3-Star prospect for a visit.
However, Ouzts has been on the campus of the University of Alabama recently. He and his dad checked out the campus during the recruiting dead period without contacting any members of Alabama’s coaching staff. They were able to talk with current Alabama tight end, Miller Forristal, during this visit.
At 6-4 and 240 pounds, the Rock Hill, South Carolina product is a tight end, who blocks with a lot of tenacity.
