As if handicapping college football with 18-to-21-year-old young men was not hard enough, we started with the Covid-19 obstacles and now we have a hurricane to monitor. The start time for Saturday’s Alabama vs. Ole Miss game is expected to be pushed back to 7:30 p.m. CT. Oxford is directly in the path of Hurricane Delta, but forecasts have the storm moving through the area in early afternoon. Winds and rain are expected to be calmer by kickoff, but it’s certainly something that you’ll want to keep an eye on between now and Saturday evening.

Alabama has opened as a 24-point road favorite over Ole Miss, with the total sitting at 70 points. As of Thursday morning, the Rebels have attracted a higher ticket count and percentage of dollars wagered.
