Alabama football’s latest performance against the Ole Miss Rebels left many, including former Alabama wide receiver and alum, Marquis Maze with questions and concerns over the Tide’s defensive ability.
Maze tweeted Sunday, he had problem sleeping after watching the Tide play Saturday. The two-time National Champion also questioned the ability of Alabama’s “new age” players in the tweet.
I couldn’t sleep good last night the worst football I ever seen from Bama we gave up over half of a thousand yards last night and 31 first downs 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ I guess these new age players built different

The Rebels had a total of 647 yards against Alabama’s defense. They reached the endzone six times and two of the times were on drives, where they pick up a first on fourth down. Alabama did not force a single turnover and forced Ole Miss to punt only two times throughout the game.
Nick Saban and company will try to turn the Tide on defense when Alabama host Georgia Saturday in Bryant-Denny stadium.
