Despite a top-five team playing an unranked opponent and altering kickoff due to inclement weather, Alabama’s game against Ole Miss was able to put up impressive numbers.
Not only were there fireworks on the field but from a viewership perspective as well. ESPN announced today that last Saturday’s matchup was the network’s most-viewed college football game so far this season with 4.9 million viewers.

It was also the most-viewed Alabama game on the network in nearly three years with the team’s next-highest game coming against Mississippi State in 2017.
The game last weekend was one which intrigued the masses with the past storyline of head coaches Nick Saban and Lane Kiffin’s history and Alabama’s past matchups with Ole Miss being extremely close finishes.
Saturday was no different as the Crimson Tide were able to inch past late in Oxford and come away with a 63-48 victory.
