Jalen Hurts is doing more than playing football for the Philadelphia Eagles.
The former Alabama and Oklahoma quarterback is on the front line, encouraging citizens to go to the voting polls and let their voices be heard in this presidential election. According to a video from Dan Koob, who covers the Eagles for CBS, Hurts was outside a polling area with a megaphone.
His leadership has always extended far beyond the football field.

Before he came a second-round pick, Hurts led the Crimson Tide and Sooners to the College Football Playoff.

He is the lone quarterback in the history of the CFP era to take two different schools to the venue. Hurts was a two-time Southeastern Conference Champion (2016, 2018) and a national champion at Alabama. He guided the Sooners to a Big-12 title in the 2019 season and finished the year as a Heisman finalist.
The native Texan was special for both schools, and now he is lending his voice to help people vote in this election.
