Miller Forristall experienced a joyous moment over the weekend.
With the Crimson Tide on a bye week, the Alabama tight end spent time with his girlfriend — Abby Lutzenkirchen — and he decided to pop the question to her. She said “yes” and the two of them shared a hug in the wind.
Lutzenkirchen posted a video of the moment on Instagram, while Forristall shared it on Twitter.

As the sister of former Auburn tight end, Philip Lutzenkirchen, who died in 2014, Abby was a standout on the women’s soccer team at the University of Alabama from 2012-15.
Forristall is winning both on and off the field.
After catching four touchdown passes in 2019, the native Georgian has 10 receptions for 141 yards with one score through six games. He has been the ultimate warrior for the Tide as a run blocker, pass blocker and pass-catching tight end.

During a segment of his “Hey Coach” show, Nick Saban talked about how proud he is of Forristall.
“Miller is a great leader and a hard worker,” Saban said. “He puts the team first and he does a lot of the dirty work. He is a blue collar player, a great competition, and he has great character. He makes this team what it is.”
As his NFL Draft value continues to grow, Forristall is engaged to the woman he’s always wanted.
