Following his best game of the season, Alabama running back Trey Sanders season will, unfortunately, be cut short again.
Sources have informed Touchdown Alabama that Sanders will miss the remainder of the season due to injuries he sustained during a car accident last Friday.
This is the second season-ending injury to Sanders’ career after suffering a foot injury in 2019 which ended his freshman season prematurely.
In 2020 Sanders had begun
to become more of a focal point in the Crimson Tide’s offense as he rushed for a total of 134 yards on 30 attempts in four games of action. One of those games included an 80-yard performance two weeks ago against Mississippi State.
This post will be updated.
