Sources have informed Touchdown Alabama’s Stephen Smith that redshirt freshman outside linebacker Kevin Harris has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal.
Harris has not been able to crack the rotation on defense since joining the Crimson Tide in 2019. He redshirted his first season at Alabama ahead of the four-game deadline.
The Loganville, GA native came in as a four-star recruit where he chose Alabama over schools like LSU and Miami.
This is the 10th player the Crimson Tide has seen enter the portal this year as he joins Giles Amos (Arkansas State), Markail Benton (Jacksonville State), Scooby Carter (MGCCC), Nigel Knott (East Carolina), Jerome Ford (Cincinnati), Scott Lashley (Mississippi State), Tyrell Shavers (Mississippi State), Charadrius Townsend, Ishmael Sopsher and Taulia Tagovailoa (Maryland).
