SOURCES: Alabama WR Jaylen Waddle ‘ahead of schedule’ in recovering from injury, could be back for CFP

He has faced adversity throughout his life, and the ankle injury is nothing different for Jaylen Waddle.

A junior from Houston, Texas, he got hurt on the opening kickoff against Tennessee.

The verdict was a highly sprained right ankle with a fracture involved. He made it through the surgery, but Nick Saban stated the talented Alabama wide receiver would miss the remainder of the season.
