It will be the 85th meeting between the two in-state rivals as Alabama leads the all-time series with a record of 46-37-1. But the Tigers are currently coming off a win from the 2019 Iron Bowl at Jordan-Hare Stadium where Gus Malzahn was able to muster up a victory with a clever change up on a punt formation where the Crimson Tide was caught with too many men on the field.
In his career, Alabama head coach Nick Saban is 10-8 against Auburn with Malzahn boasting a 3-4 record in the rivalry.
