Brooks played his senior season at IMG Academy, where he had an opportunity to put his elite route running and wide catch radius on display. The Florida product has been verbally committed to Alabama since April. In an interview with Touchdown Alabama in September, Brooks said he wanted to improve on multiple facets of his game before he enrolled.
“As I watch film on myself, I want to improve on blocking, route running, technique skills and whatever my coaches see that I am missing or need,” Brooks said. “I take their information and soak it up. I just display it all on the field.”

It now looks as if Brooks has put on his boxing gloves and attempted to use the combat sport as a way to fine tune his gridiron skills. This is something that is seen from some high-profile professional athletes as boxing helps with reflexes and hand-eye coordination, which are two elements that help wide receivers.
