At this point in the season, every team’s goal is to be heading into conference championship seasons with a healthy roster.
Losing one of your important players can be devastating and completely change the outlook on your season, depending on his importance. Luckily for Alabama, star center Landon Dickerson shared that he is going to make a full recovery after the (vicious) chest bump he took against LSU.
Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. @Ria_Martin After consulting @makennahsdad and @drlylecain they believe I will make a full recovery. 🙏🏻 https://t.co/yZzF5qwH4e

Obviously, the tongue in cheek, Twitter update immediately went viral even to the point where Alabama’s Director of Sports Medicine Jeff Allen chimed in with his own update.
After this devastating hit last night, I’m glad to report that @Landon_2012 is totally normal today. On second thought, maybe “normal” is not the right choice of words for Landon. Let’s just say that @drlylecain thinks he will be ready to roll next Saturday. RTR https://t.co/d2OBozAWfh

Dickerson was integral in the Alabama run game as it racked up a total of 265 yards and three touchdowns from the ground alone, against an outmatched Tigers defense.
It’s no secret that the Crimson Tide took great pleasure in dismantling LSU last Saturday in Tiger Stadium as it avenged the loss from a year ago with a 55-17 victory.
