When it comes to the players, Nick Saban is about more than winning championships at Alabama.

On Saturday, he will display his biggest smile as 11 players will graduate with degrees.

Aside from Slade Bolden (2018), the other graduates hail from the Crimson Tide’s 2017 signing class. The group of Mac Jones (masters), Najee Harris, Dylan Moses, Phidarian Mathis, LaBryan Ray, Brian Robinson Jr., Christopher Allen, Hunter Brannon, Kendall Randolph and Major Tennison all arrived on campus in 2017 as freshmen and were part of Alabama’s College Football Playoff National Championship team.

The trio of Jones, Harris and Moses are semifinalists for national awards.

This year’s team is undefeated at 9-0, despite the Coronavirus pandemic. It is seeking its second perfect season since 2009 and a sixth national title with Saban. Alabama will face Arkansas as well on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. on ESPN.
