JUCO defensive back, Khyree Jackson signed a National Letter of Intent to play football at the University of Alabama Wednesday.
Jackson is a product of Upper Marlboro, Maryland. He was set to play this season with East Mississippi Community College. Unfortunately, East Mississippi postponed its season due to the spread of COVID-19.
Alabama grabbed a commitment from Jackson over Oklahoma and others. He is one of the five Alabama signees who will play defensive back at the next level. There is an argument to be made that Jackson is the most college-ready of this group.
The Maryland product plays with great instincts. He is smooth in coverage and knows how to attack the football. Jackson also brings aggressiveness to the table as he comes downhill to lay big hits on ball carriers.
At 6-foot-3, he is a long defensive back, who will most likely play cornerback at the next level. Touchdown Alabama has Jackson rated as a 4-Star recruit.
