During the first quarter of the SEC Championship, Alabama wide receiver John Metchie displayed the never give up mentality all athletes aspire to have.
After Florida defensive back Trey Dean intercepted Mac Jones, Metchie ran down the Gator and threw an insanely hard hit on the junior to force a fumble.

The play led to even more good fortune for Alabama as it scored a touchdown on the very next play with Mac Jones connecting with receiver DeVonta Smith.
