On Tuesday the Southeastern conference released its seasonal awards and all-conference teams and like most years, Alabama cleaned up in these categories.
The Crimson Tide’s head coach was one part of the big day for the team as Saban took home the 2020 SEC Coach of the Year award.
It is the first time since 2016 when Saban last won the conference’s best coach award and is now a five time recipient of the honor. Saban is well-deserving of the award for this season as he led Alabama to a 10-0 season with an SEC only schedule which has never been done before.
He also helped the Tide to an SEC Championship victory over Florida last week while owning the conference’s top-scoring offense and defense.
Saban will now turn his attention to the College Football Playoff where Alabama will square off against Notre Dame on New Years Day as the head coach will be looking to capture his seventh national championship.
