Contrary to what Notre Dame and some pundits of national media feel, there are multiple alums of the University of Alabama that do not see the Rose Bowl Game being a close matchup.
Shaun Dion Hamilton, a native of Montgomery, Ala., is one of the alums.

He played at inside linebacker for Nick Saban from 2014 to 2017 and was on two College Football Playoff National Championship teams (2015 and 2017). Hamilton was selected in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Washington Football Team, and he is in his third season with the franchise. In putting on his analyst hat, Hamilton sees a blowout victory for his Alma mater.

His former teammate, Derrick Henry, told the Tennessean that he sees big performances from Mac Jones, Najee Harris and DeVonta Smith against the Fighting Irish. Henry picked the Crimson Tide as his team to win the CFP National Championship.
Kickoff for the CFP semifinal game at the Rose Bowl is set for 3:00 p.m. CT.
