On Thursday Alabama defensive back Patrick Surtain announced his intent to forgo his senior season and enter the 2021 NFL Draft.
In his junior year with the Crimson Tide, Surtain was among the elite defensive backs in all of college football. He was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-SEC and a Unanimous All-American.
Surtain recorded 38 tackles, 12 pass deflections, one interception and one touchdown as Alabama went on to win its 18th national championship over Ohio State last Monday.
