Terrion Arnold announced his commitment and signed a National Letter of Intent with the University of Alabama Wednesday.
Arnold is a five-star defensive back out of St. John Paul II Catholic High School in Tallahassee, Florida. He is the Crimson Tide’s 27th signee in the 2021 recruiting class. The Florida product chose Alabama over Georgia and Florida.
The Tide signee will have an opportunity to play football and basketball at the University of Alabama. Nate Oats and Alabama’s coaching staff played a major role in Alabama’s push for Arnold. They were in frequent contact with him leading up to National Signing Day.
“I talk to them daily,” Arnold told Touchdown Alabama in January. “Their coaching staff has really painted the picture of how they can and plan to use me. I think it is a great opportunity. It is really a great chance to build my brand, dominate basketball and football.”
Alabama football is expected to line Arnold up at safety, but he has the ability to play all over the secondary. At 6-foot and 180 pounds, he is one of the most technically-sound defensive backs in the country. He is a physical defensive back, who can close on the football quickly.
