Several Power 5 programs will have their eyes on Ty Simpson when he announces his verbal commitment Friday at 2 p.m CST from Westview High School.
All signs point to Simpson choosing Alabama, Clemson or Tennessee. All three of these programs would be lucky to land Simpson because of his unique skill set as a quarterback, but one will be even more fortunate to do so because of the infectious personality he brings into a locker room.
“He is someone you want your family to be around,” Westview head football coach Jarod Neal told Touchdown Alabama. “He is a good kid, and he does not do the wrong thing. His personality is infectious. He is not shy and will talk to anybody and make a friend.”
