G.W. Long High School’s sophomore defensive lineman, Jaeden Jackson pulled in offers from South Carolina and Michigan last month and is set to continue to make a rise on the recruiting trail.
“I was excited because I had never received an offer before,” Jackson said when asked about his early offers. “With them being my first offers, I was happy and blessed.”
Both programs told Jackson they were impressed with how he comes off of the football and how aggressive he is when they offered him.
Touchdown Alabama saw him in action for the first time Sunday at the DexPreps Elite Camp at Lincoln High School. Jackson was recognized as one of the top five defensive linemen at the camp, that had several Power 5 targets in action. He stood out during the one on one portion of the camp with his quick jump off the snap and his impressive footwork.
Jackson was also able to show that he is making strides to strengthen his hand movement. He won a couple of his one on one battles with some impressive power rush moves.

As a sophomore for the Rebels, Jackson showed an ability to read where a play was going and attack. He looked really impressive in space for a player his size.
