Singleton currently holds more than 30 D1 offers. He is the 19th 2022 running back prospect to receive an offer from the Crimson Tide. The Pennsylvania product said he found about his offer from Alabama during a phone call with Nick Saban.
“I was on the phone with coach Saban, and he was talking about how the whole staff was amazing and that he really liked my film,” Singleton told Touchdown Alabama. “He offered me then. I was excited to receive the offer. I always watch them on television, and to get a chance to play for Alabama is insane.”
Alabama’s player development is one of the things Singleton admires about the Tide. He said he was impressed with their running back production.
“I think their running back production is good,” Singleton said. “They have developed Derrick Henry, Josh Jacobs, who was a first-round pick, Mark Ingram, who was a Heisman trophy winner and Najee Harris, who obviously had a good season this year. I think they produce their running backs really well.”
Singleton is one of the biggest running backs in the 2022 recruiting class at 6-foot and 205 pounds. He finished his junior season with 1,303 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns through eight games. His breakaway speed and tough running style made him a threat to score every time he touched the football.

The next step in Singleton’s recruitment is to narrow his choices down.
“I am going to pick some schools and make a top list,” Singleton said. “I am waiting till the dead period is lifted to go visit those schools.”
The Tide’s coaching staff will look to continue building a relationship with Singleton in hopes that they can lock up a spot in his top school list. Alabama signed one running back during the 2021 recruiting cycle and could sign two in the 2022 cycle.
