Alabama running back Najee Harris went above and beyond, on Thursday as he decided to volunteer at the North Texas Food Bank to help feed people in need.
Harris received a shoutout from the bank’s Twitter account thanking him for giving them his time.
We want to give a big thank you to Alabama’s @ohthatsNajee22, one of the top draft picks for the NFL, who came to volunteer with us today at our Perot Family Campus. Thank you for joining us in the fight against hunger! pic.twitter.com/DLkQ1ORZzl

The California native, who also conducted some of his offseason training in Texas, has always acted on what’s passionate to him whether it is football, social activism or feeding the less fortunate.
North Texas Food Bank has distributed more than 34 million pounds of fresh produce and has provided 96.9 million meals to kids, seniors and families within the 2020 fiscal year.
You can donate, volunteer and learn more about the bank here as it continues to work towards feeding those all across the state.
