Veteran players for Alabama football donning new numbers in spring practice

On Friday, the first of 15 practice sessions happened at the University of Alabama as spring football is here.

The early enrollees from this year’s signing class received their numbers, and some veteran players will don new numbers.

As Nick Saban prepares his group to defend its national championship crown, listed below are the experienced players rocking different jersey numbers.

UA veterans in new numbers this spring

DB: DeMarcco Hellams, No. 2 (wore No. 29 in 2020)

RB: Trey Sanders, No. 6 (wore No. 24 in 2020)

QB: Paul Tyson, No. 17 (wore No. 15 in 2020)

OL: Javion Cohen, No. 70 (wore No. 57 in 2020)
