Alabama took another hit on the offensive line as starting tackle Evan Neal had to leave Saturday’s scrimmage with an injury. Head coach Nick Saban broke the news during his post-practice press conference but did not specify what the injury was and how long the team would be missing him for.

Saban also shared that sophomore offensive lineman Javion Cohen is dealing with bone spurs in his foot and would be back with the team on Tuesday.
Neal has been an important fixture of Alabama’s offense since he first arrived in Tuscaloosa in 2019. Since then he has started nearly every game he was available for and has played all across the line.
He was one of the most experienced players returning to the team which would make his loss very impactful should anything be serious.
